The Only Way is UP! 2026

Guernsey’s ultimate cycling challenge is on Sunday 4th October, 2026.

Back for its sixth year, riders are hoping for another dry forecast after the balmy last couple of years. Riders can choose from 3 different routes, with most going for the full 25 hills featured in the Guernsey’s Cycling Climbs book. Links to the routes are available below.

All the money raised goes to the local Only Fools & Donkeys charity, which distributes it to local good causes and charities. To see where the money goes, please go to: Charity Donations – Only Fools And Donkeys. Through cycling events and initiatives, the charity has raised over £300,000 since 2010.

This year, it is great to have new sponsors, Wheels & Co. on board. Without their support, the event wouldn’t continue to be the success it has been, raising over £15,000 to date for local charities.  A big thank you also to the volunteers behind the scenes who help ensure the ride runs smoothly on the day. Marshals, registration team, cake makers and BBQ chefs all contribute massively to make the event the success it is.
